BytesFX uses cookies and similar browser storage only where the site needs them. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

3. Cookies We Use
Login cookies
Login cookies are set by our account service only when you sign in to the dashboard. The rest of the site sets no cookies.
Cookieless visit statistics
To count visits we use our own statistics, which set no cookies and store nothing on your device. For each page you view we record the page, the site that sent you (on your first page only), any campaign tag in the link, your country, and whether you use a phone, tablet or computer and which browser. To tell visits apart without cookies we use a one-way code made from your IP address and browser that changes every day, so we can't follow you from one day to the next. These statistics never store your IP address. Records are deleted after about 13 months. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, you are not counted.
Chat
The chat keeps a conversation reference in your browser tab so your messages stay together. It is not a cookie and is deleted when you close the tab.
4. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
We don't show a cookie banner, because the site sets no analytics or marketing cookies. Cookie Settings, linked in every page footer, shows analytics and marketing choices; while we use no such tools, they change nothing. If we add analytics or advertising tools, we will ask for your consent before they run and update this policy.

6. Third-Party Cookies
We don't use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. The site's fonts come from Google Fonts: your browser fetches them from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details to deliver them. Google Fonts sets no cookies.
7. Impact of Disabling Cookies
Blocking cookies or site storage doesn't affect most of the site. The chat needs tab storage to keep your conversation together, and signing in to the dashboard needs its login cookies.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post any changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
