Step-by-step for WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow or Google Tag Manager
- WordPress
- Install the free WPCode plugin → Code Snippets → Header & Footer → paste into Footer → Save.
- Shopify
- Online Store → Themes → ⋯ → Edit code →
layout/theme.liquid→ paste just above</body>→ Save. - Wix
- Settings → Custom code → Add custom code → paste → Place code in Body – end → All pages → Apply.
- Squarespace
- Settings → Advanced → Code Injection → paste into Footer → Save (needs a Business plan or higher).
- Webflow
- Site settings → Custom code → paste into Footer code → Save → Publish.
- Google Tag Manager
- New tag → Custom HTML → paste → trigger All Pages → Submit and publish.
Then add the site's domain below and open your site: the status bar at the top turns green after the first conversation.
